Campuses

"My house will be a house of prayer!"

Matthew 21:13

We have discovered that the most effective way to build a praying church is to start a campus of the College of Prayer. Rather than simply offering a single prayer conference, which is one-and-done, a campus provides an environment where people encounter the manifest presence of God, and a safe place to process your spiritual formation. Just as Jesus took three years to train his disciples in prayer, now you can too by hosting a campus. Keep in mind that the campus is not physical buildings, but meaningful friendships. You don't pay faculty salaries, but you raise up leaders.

What is a Campus?

A campus consists of a Servant Leadership Team of at least 2-5 Christian leaders (including at least one pastor) who are committed to the vision of the College of Prayer, with influence to gather 20 or more people for two days, twice a year, for three years.

At a campus you will spend 1/3 of the time in prayer and worship, 1/3 of the time receiving instruction, and 1/3 of the time processing what you are learning. You will enjoy extended times of prayer, worship, repentance, cleansing, and renewal in addition to life-giving teaching. Best of all, we encounter the manifest presence of Christ together.

Each campus of the College of Prayer is part of a bigger movement leading the church back to encounter the fire of the manifest presence of Christ, and to ignite the final missions movement around the world.

Course 1 Cover.png

Course 1: Lord, Teach Us to Pray

The first course follows the Lord's prayer pattern. It is designed to lead you to a fresh encounter with Christ, and to build spiritual muscle into your prayer life.

Course 2 Cover.png

Course 2: Lord, As Families, Teach Us to Pray

The second course leads families to encounter the manifest presence of Christ, regardless of the size or shape of your nuclear family. It teaches you to call down the Father's blessing, to break off generational curses, and raise up a godly generation of Holy Spirit filled children.

Course 3: Lord, As Churches, Teach Us to Pray

The third course is to lead your entire church family to encounter the fire of God's manifest presence, and to build a prayer culture throughout your church family. This is the ultimate goal of the College of Prayer—to build praying churches.

Curriculum

Our core curriculum is taken largely from the pattern Jesus used to teach His disciples how to pray in Luke 11. Teaching includes empowerment for every area of your life—your personal, family, professional, and ministry life.

Lord, Give Us the Nations

As a primer course, we have made available the 10 most foundational teachings of the three primary courses mentioned above. This is a helpful course to if you are considering launching a campus, or you can simply begin with Course 1, "Lord, Teach Us to Pray!"

Serving the Persecuted Church

The persecuted church is not another project, it is people! It is our brothers and sisters! One of our greatest honors is serving persecuted churches in some of the most volatile places on earth. Discover more about our ministry to persecuted believers and how you can be involved.

Pray

The first step in launching a campus is getting God's discernment and direction. Seek God and pray for wisdom, anointing, timing, and the right Servant Leadership Team.

Gather

Begin to cast the vision of the College of Prayer with a small group of influencers and leaders to evaluate interest. Try to include pastors, intercessors, ministry leaders, and workplace leaders. Work towards solidifying a Servant Leadership Team and selecting a launch date.

Launch

In preparation for launching a campus, share the vision with your church family and beyond. Communicate dates, purpose, and vision. Read through the curriculum and watch the video series for the course you will be leading. If you need further coaching, please contact us.

How Do I Start a Campus?

Once you have a hunger to encounter the manifest presence of Christ, and decide that a campus is your best option to build a praying church, please watch this video and discover that there are three simple steps to take.
